So it is time again for show and tell over at http://kellishouse.blogspot.com. I have not participated in a few weeks so I am glad to be back. Today I would like to show you some of my favorite board games. I am crazy about board games and we have about 100 of them. I love collecting real old ones too. Today I would like to show you my bookshelf games. These games were made in the 60s and 70s. They look like a book and fit right onto a shelf. Some of these have become our favorite games to play. I think they are real neat and a great conversation piece. Sorry I do not have time to show more detailed pictures. I am late for work :)
I would also like to show you this vintage bridge scorepad. It has never been written in and the pencils look like they have never been sharpened. I do not play bridge but bought this to try and sell on ebay. I have not had any luck :(. If anyone out there loves bridge or just loves to collect vintage games just let me know that you are interested in having it and I will sent it to someone. I just do not have the heart to put it in the donate box.
Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, I bet they ARE indeed a conversation piece. Love your photos and thanks for sharing.
A great show n tell
I love those book games, they are so cool! Which ones are your favorites? I love to play board games too, but actually haven't played that many lately. We have an old one called Hit the Beach that my boys and I loved playing. I would like to find another one like it.
Have a great weekend! Sharon
Thats a nice treasure to share and tell. Happy weekend.
What a fun collection to have. Do you play any of those games?
Oh those games are neat. I love books so I love the fact they look like books. I've never seen any of these.
Susan
One of my favorite games to play was "RAIL BARON"! I haven't thought about that in years! Thanks for sharing and for jogging my wee, tired brain!
Connie

Love the Bridge set - if you get tired of it, I could POSSIBLY make room for it :) Jennifer
I have never heard of book games--I wish you would describe them further and show us one as an example!
I remember playing these games.
Good stuff!
Those games are unusual, I don't think I've seen anything like them. thanks for stopping by my blog.
