Have you ever had one of those days where everything just seems to go wrong? I am sure everyone has! Well, I started today off not in a great mood. I was cooking a huge pot of Chicken and Rice at work and I was stressing out because I could not taste it to see if it was seasoned right. Then I got a call from Aaron at school and he had a migraine. So I left work and took some medicine to him. Well, on my way back to work I was fuming about how crazy it is that the school would not let me leave his medicine in the office without a doctors note because it contained aspirin. So, I took a wrong turn and ended up on this fairly new toll road in our area. I have never been on this road and had no idea where it ended up. I also did not have a dollar to pay the toll. I stopped at the booth and I told the guy I was lost and did not have a dollar. I don't think he believed me. Anyway, he told me to pull over and fill out this form and they would bill me. So as I was filling it out the woman from the other booth came over(she was very hateful) and took the form and told me that the lady behind me paid my toll! What a small but great blessing. I headed on my way and eventually found my way back to work 40 minutes later and 10 dollars in gas! Once at work I was in a hurry to finish my duties and dropped an entire gallon of apple juice down my leg, into my socks and shoes, and all over the floor! Very sticky mess! Thank goodness for crocs- they wash out so easy. But I have made it home- safe and sound and tomorrow is a new day. Thank God for that!

Oh man, sounds like you had an... interesting day, to say the least. :) That was really nice of the woman in the car behind you to pay your fee. Yes, thank God that you made it home safe and sound! :) And I hope Aaron gets rid of his migraine soon.
Oh, do I know how those days are.!! I often have not had any money since I do things with credit--we do our budget this way--we account for every penny ;-) --I finally realized I must keep some change in the car especially when picking my son up at USC--parking meters!! I didn't realize they have toll roads near you---you woould think it would be free for the locals ;-)
Oh you poor thing. You need to lay down, put your feet up, have some chocolate and relax a bit. Boy....what a day! I am so sorry you had a bad day. Today will be better!
Hugs, Sharon
P.S. How nice of the lady to pay your toll, I want to be like her!
Oh you poor dear. Days like that can be so frustrating. I couldn't help but think that the lady behind you was really an angel, and the mean hateful one was working for the enemy. It makes me want to jump in and pay someone's toll or help them out at the cash register when needed.
It seems like when it rains it pours, or in this case; apple juice. You have a wonderful attitude, however, and your story made me feel better about my day.
I'm sorry you could not taste your chicken.
Hugs, Kathi
wow, it sounds like you had an awful day. But, that is one good thing about a bad day, it is always followed by a better day. Let's hope today was a better day for you. Tanya
Come on over to my blog Sondra, I have an award for you!

YES I have. I am sorry you had a bad one. Tomorrow is Friday and maybe you'll have some You time. I hope so sweetie. I love Random Acts of Kindness. I don't know why the other woman had to be hateful, but we'll just pray for both of them: thanksgiving for one, and change of heart for the other! Jennifer
