I have a job opportunity that is with the same company that I already work for. This job would open a lot of doors for me. I would really like to have this position, but I am still being held back by the hours. For the past 10 years I have worked hours that have allowed me to get off at 2:30 so that I am able to transport the boys home from school. Aaron has just finished drivers ed so I am really wanting him to get a car and pass his test. That would greatly help me! Since Billy and Wes work and do not live at home they are not able to help me in transporting the younger two. (Wes doesn't have a licence either). I am really excited about applying for this position, but do not want to push Aaron to drive if he is not ready and I have to consider the cost of buying him a car.
I always have a hard time in making these kind of decisions. I will pray about it and see if God opens this door for me.

I'll pray for you. I think there is a lot of value in you being there to pick them up after school and being home in the afternoon. I am learning that this year too. Last summer I worked four 5 hour days and now I am working 3 8 hour days. I love having my two days off, but I hate not being home in the afternoon, but at least my husband is here most of the time when the boys get home from school. I think teenage boys can get into a lot of trouble when unsupervised with a TV and a computer in the house.

I also understand you wanting to better yourself and have a job that is rewarding. If your happy, it really does effect the tone of your home, but at the same time, it is important that you are there.

God knows what is best, just keep praying, I am sure He will reveal to you what is His will.

Blessings! Sharon
