Quiet Here

It has been such a quiet weekend here. I guess that is good because I still do not feel well. My throat is just killing me and now I have this deep cough. Aaron went to stay with his friend Randy Wednesday after school. He ended up staying till Saturday. Randy's grandmother raises him and she just loves Aaron to death. She does not mind having him there for days. Austin spent two nights at a friends house and is not home yet. This is really the first time Austin has spent the night at a friends. He has been gone over night with his cousin before but that is it. I have been protective of him and have always been afraid to let him stay the night anywhere. He has had night terrors since a young child and will even sleep walk outside. I believe he has just about outgrown it but still has an occasional incident. I have been worried about him, but the friend he is staying with is just a few houses away from his older brothers' house and they have already went by to see him. Aaron and Randy are gone off to play football with Billy and Wes and Sandy is asleep. It is very lonely and quiet here and I have just been laying around feeling ill :(. I hope to feel better this week and I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Sondra, that mess has lingered with you hasn't it? I pray that you will be up and around soon. I am on the beginning of a cold. I have that awful tickle in my throat that has me dry coughing. ICK! Take care and feel better! Jen

It sounds like a great time for you to watch a wonderful chic flick and eat some of your new favorite foods (mint icecream) and rest. Our house is quiet right now too, big boys are moved out, Grayson just went to work and Hayden spent the night at a friends and went to church with their family. We just got back from church and a Wal-Mart trip and I am really feeling like taking a nap! I am still recovering from my cold too.

I hope you feel better soon! Sharon

I hope you will soon feel better. My house is quiet too. I just have my six year old and my 16 year old home. I gave them both a yes to play their computer games for awhile before playing outside. The girls are having fun at a friend's house after church.

I just read some things from your other blog. I'm so sorry you can't have good tasting chocolate chip cookies. I'm happy your sweet friend found those oreo-type cookie though. What a blessing.

Hugs, Kathi

Enjoy the peace and quiet! We have a holiday here today. I've taken the dog for a leisurely walk, and I'm just about to go and make some pancakes for the boys who have already surfaced. (2 are still asleep at 8.30am.)

Hi Sondra,
Just take care of yourself and relax. You'll be fine in a few days. Your kids know how to take care of themselves. I'll say a prayer for your immediate healing. God bless you and your family always.
