STILL SEARCHING

I have come to develop this love/hate relationship with doctors. Just as I was about to be at the point of giving up on all doctors-in comes Dr. Lantz. She has become the solid center of this large circle I am wandering around in. Finally a doctor who really listens and cares. Finally a doctor who is willing to go to any length in search of an answer. But are these answers going to be the ones I want to hear? Are these answers going to be the beginning of a long and fearful journey ahead? I am scared, yet I know that God is in control and He knows what He is doing. But, I am still scared. Some days I just want to give up. Thankfully Aaron has jumped in to give me the "never give up" speech. It is hard waiting....waiting for more biopsies...waiting for more blood tests...waiting for your next appointment.....
Psalms 37: 7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him
Isaiah 40:31 But they they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.

I'm sorry you are going through a rough time.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My mom is going through a rough time too...she has had 4 chest xrays now as she has some spots on her lungs. They still aren't sure what it is.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well Sondra. I love the scripture from Isaiah that you used, wait upon the Lord and He will renew your strength. He has a plan and He will take care of you. I will continue to pray for you.

Fondly, Sharon
P.S. Yes, that is a picture of our back yard.

Well keep us posted--I've been praying for you since way back when--when you posted about the problem--quite some time ago!! So let us know what happens. It is always so hard to keep your mind in control when things are so unkown---I've been studying Elisabeth Georges' book on Loving God with all of your Mind--and she tells us not to be thinking on what ifs....but on what is true, lovely, etc Phil 4:8--Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me--practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." The problem is fear takes our minds off of God and our minds go full throttle. Hope you can focus on Him and trust Him in this difficult and confusing time. Praying for you
