A big birthday party

We had a joint birthday party here for three teenage girls. Aaron's girlfriend Sandy (in the yellow), and Kim and Cheyenne. They were all turning 15.

The all wanted to make their own cakes so work began early that week. Here is a skyline.

Some cats.

Some rocks and mushrooms.

A frog. All these were made from our homemade fondant.

Here Sandy is working on her hello kitty's.

Cheyenne and Kim work hard too.

The finished cupcakes.

Kims skyline cake.

And Cheyennee's pond cake. They had fun and did a great job.

The party went great. Lots of kids showed up. It was so hot but it all went well.

Blowing out the candles.

The start of a cake fight.

Uh oh. Sandy is going to chase her down now.

Cheyenne gets pulled in too.

The results....

And somehow Randy got hit with a Hello Kitty cupcake. Nice mark.

All the girls got lots of presents.

I got Sandy art supplies. She is a very talented young girl.

Tired and wore out....everyone just hangs out

It was a long day, but endend up being a great party!

4th of July

Happy 4th. Here is Kasadie with her sparklers.

My pumpkin patch.

A big pumpkin already.

I grew some tomatoes.
And got a tiny green pepper.
And made some tortellini salad! Yummy!
We saw this great Corvette in honor of our military.

Inside the hood is a list of all the names of the people who lost their lives in 9-11.
The hood has a beautiful painting of the twin towers. Thats Sandy in the background.
Kasadie brought along her own swimming pool. She stayed in it until she turned blue!
And she got her first taste of watermelon. A girl after her great grandmas heart!
And she got a new hairbow.
ANd a few fireworks
