SUNDAY WORDS AND HEY I NEED HELP!!!

I really need someone to help me out! I love to read Kates blog over at ourredhouse. However, in the past two months when I go to her blog it causes my computer to freeze up. Last month I was able to get a message to her and let her know but now I cannot even read or comment on her blog. I feel like a bad blogger friend and need to let her know. If anyone is a friend of Kate's could you please let her know that I am still having serious problems when I go to her blog? Thanks!!

Here is a thought for today:
Three things in life that, once gone, never come back -
1. Time
2. Words
3. Opportunity

Three things in life that can destroy a person -
1. Anger
2. Pride
3. Unforgiveness

Three things in life that you should never lose-
1. Hope
2. Peace
3. Honesty

Three things in life that are most valuable -
1. Love
2. Family &Friends
3. Kindness

Three things that make a person -
1. Commitment
2. Sincerity
3. Hard work

Three things that are truly constant -
Father - Son - Holy Spirit

Hi Sondra,

I'm feeling quite worried about what is causing this. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem.

I deleted everything off my sidebar and found one blogroll was causing an error, so I deleted that, but otherwise I really don't know what the problem is. I am finding my blog is loading slowly for me too!

Help!

Kate

Kate, I am really puzzled too. I read many different blogs but it never fails that only your blog causes this problem. Let me talk to my friends hubby who is a computer wiz to see if he knows.

Sondra, I've posted on the blog today asking for help, so maybe someone will have a suggestion.

I can tell you:
*I'm up-to-date with virus scans
*my photos are all low-resolution
*two readers have replied so far saying they have no trouble loading at all
*I've tried Blogger help but they don't have anything on slow-loading blogs
*I thought it might speed up after I defrag-ed the computer but it's still slow
*it loads fine on my kids' computer

Perhaps I've made a mistake with the html somewhere. I am not very technically competent.

I would be very grateful if your friend can help.

It is probably my computer! In know way did I mean to suggest that you had a problem with your blog or computer :( Sorry if you thought that. I just wanted you to know the problem I was having so you did not think I was avoiding your comments or anything. I will try to visit it now and see what happens.

Same thing! When I click your link here it brings up your profile. Then I click to open your blog and I can see your blog header and then it just freezes up. It must be my computer but can't understand why it is only your blog! I will check and see what I can find out.

Aww, I hope all gets worked out cause we get used to seeing each other, don't we?

Glad to see you today Sondra. ALWAYS a bright spot in my day. I spotted your new blog on your profile. CONGRATULATIONS and may God prosper it and help others who are suffering from Celiacs. You are a great lady!

Be blessed, Jen

Hi Sondra,

Have you tried loading Firefox on your computer? I have just done this and the blog is loading really fast. It seems that Internet Explorer might be the problem.

hugs,

Kate

Hey Sondra,

feel free to e-mail me regarding what you want sewn (my e-mail is on my blogger profile). I'm still not all that great at sewing, but each project does get better. I'm sure my friend Mica could lend me a hand if I get stuck.

I try to lead a low carb diet, but to be gluten free would be super tough! It's in EVERYTHING! But you do have an advantage over others dealing with that, you'll know how to cook things for yourself that you can eat that
