Aaron Takes a Test Drive

Aaron has been looking at this car. An old friend of mine is selling it. We went today to let him try and drive it because some kids were telling him that old cars did not have power steering and it would be to hard to drive. Well, he did just fine driving it. He really likes it but is not yet 100% sure that it is the car he wants. I am kind of anxious to get him driving because it would really free me up to change jobs. He could transport him and his brother back and forth to school. Of course I am not going to rush him. I want him to be really ready.
Here is the car. It is a 63 Ford Fairlane.

I had such mixed emotions about my boys driving. Once I got used to it I loved that they could transport themselves and that I didn't have to wait around for them to get out of youth group on Wed. nights.

Sondra...she sure is a beauty. She reminds me of the 68 Valiant I drove to college...no powersteering, but safe and so reliable. I love his choice of cars...it is charming for sure!

That's a cute classic car. I feel that way too. I need the extra help driving, but I don't want my children rushing into it. I enjoy talking with them when we run all those places, and I will miss them, but I need a BREAK!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and seeing the post about my dad. I never got it. I don't know what happened. I will say this I have recieved fewer messages this week, than what would be normal. I there is not something wrong with our blogs.

I am sorry I missed getting your comment. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

I am so tired. I am smiling though, because my husband is on his way home from Singapore and will be here in the morning. Yay!!!

Have a blessed Good Friday. I will not be blogging tomorrow. I am taking a one day break. Hugs, Kathi

I like the car. Not a snazzy little sports car but those scream "PUNK". Aaron doesn't look like a punk. This car has character, it needs a pair of Vans (shoes) to go with it and an interesting CD collection. A thinker and a person of cool personality would drive it. I love things that are unique!

But AARON!! PLEASE be careful. Take it seriously and be Be Responsible!

Cool car! Maybe he'll come around.

And thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog. I really appreciate everything you said, and knowing it comes from someone who has a bunch of health stuff too means a lot as well.
